Nicholas is the Managing Partner and Director of Equity Research of VRS. Having gained significant work experience in buy-side and sell-side advising through his employment in top-tier brokerage firms Nicholas founded VRS in 2002. Among others, his recent assignments have been in the areas of corporate valuation, M&A’s advisory, and equity analysis for international clients. Nicholas holds a Bachelor’s degree from Athens University of Economics & Business (Greece), graduate and postgraduate degrees from Harvard University (US) and ICMA Center, Reading University (UK), and a PhD on corporate valuation from University of Macedonia (Greece). He is a Certified Financial Analyst from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.

George is Director of Equity Research & Corporate Finance in VRS in Athens with over 20 years of professional experience in the buy-side and the sell-side. His experience is focused on corporate finance and value-related advisory services to a wide range of Greek and international corporate clients across different industries and sectors. His prior experience includes C-level executive and senior positions at Greek leading brokerage firms, investment committees of insurance companies and NPL servicing companies. George holds a Bachelor degree in Economics & Finance from the University of Athens, an MBA in Finance from the Athens University of Economics & Business, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Athens and a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Athens. His academic work is also published at top tier international journals.

Efstratios is Assistant Professor in Financial Analysis and Neural Systems at the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Macedonia. He has presented his research at International and National Conferences and academic journals. He is editor of three books on the subjects of financial analysis, financial derivatives and financial modeling. Also, he is research partner in VRS. His current research interests include: neural networks and financial statement analysis, neural networks and cyber risks, and financial management of cyber risks.

John is specialised in Risk Analysis (PhD Gent University, Belgium) with an emphasis on aquaculture - an emergent sector of the primary industries. As a Marine Biologist (BSc Patras University, Greece and MSc University of Wales at Bangor, UK), certified in Fisheries Product Quality Management & Marketing (Hull University, UK), has participated in over 30 industrial and academic projects. As an expert has been contributor in several national and international organisations in EU and US. He has served as Assistant Professor in the School of Animal Production, Fisheries & Aquaculture, Patras University, Greece. He has published 20 research papers and contributed to 13 book chapters of concerned actions.

Dr Dimitrios Gkamas is teaching the MSc module on Investment Portfolio Management at ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading and is the founder of Ameru Financial Limited a quantitative analysis firm focusing on advising financial institutions and corporates on Asset Allocation, ALM, Risk Management, Economic & Regulatory Capital Optimization and Yield Enhancement through the targeted use of derivatives in investment portfolios. Dimitrios is a seasoned banking and insurance professional with almost a quarter of a century experience in the financial services industry. Has helped clients across Europe, Middle East and Asia achieving their financial objectives and has great experience in transforming theoretical concepts to practical solutions for meeting clients’ needs. Dimitrios has worked both on the buy side (Towers Watson, Consultant Life Practice, Just Retirement, and Consultant to the Chief Risk Officer) and sell side (BNP Paribas, Associate, Investment Banking Team, Citi, Vice President Insurance and Pensions Structured Solutions Group, Standard Chartered, Director Structuring). Has published his PhD thesis results on the topic of option pricing under stochastic volatility in the Journal of Quantitative Finance.

Evangelos is a senior tech leader specialized in the design of mission-critical systems. His career spans over 30 years across numerous high-tech industries (Bank, Trading, Real Estate, and Green Energy) where he developed several expert systems. Evangelos is also a subject domain expert in the field of AI applied to the valuation of SME and their default prediction.

Charalampos is a Fellow of the Hellenic Actuarial Society and a CFA charterholder, with 15+ years of top level responsibilities in the field of the three-pillar insurance system. He has extensive experience in providing actuarial and risk management support to occupational pension funds, insurance companies and the private sector in the field of IAS 19 framework actuarial valuations and employee insurance benefits. He received his PhD degree from Lancaster University, with which he maintains a research agenda. He is currently a teaching fellow at the University of Piraeus.

Christoforos is a Certified Financial Analyst by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission with over 20 years of professional experience. With prior experience as a senior financial analyst in top-tier brokerage firms, he has undertaken the valuation of several listed as well as non-listed companies in Greece, either for reporting, IPOs, or merger & acquisition purposes.

Zoe is equipped with over 20 years of experience in analyzing and valuing listed and non-listed companies in a wide range of business sectors in Greece, while working as a Senior Financial Analyst in large security firms in Greece. She has also served as a member of the Investment Committee at the Hellenic Pension Mutual Fund Management Company. From 2009 to 2011 she worked as a special adviser to the Minister of Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping and later to the Minister of Labor & Social Security.

Spyridon Vasileiou is Director of Investment Research. His research interests are mostly found in the areas of corporate finance (securities and company valuation, bond valuations, capital structure issues and financial engineering), capital markets (global asset allocation models, exchange rates and commodities) and most recently in the turnaround management consulting. He has 20 years of experience in global financial markets (with extra focus in equities, options, FX and commodities) with active involvement in several investment committees abroad since 2004 and also Hedge Fund due diligence.

Constantina holds a Maitrise en Finance from Sorbonne University, Paris, France. She is certified as Technical Analyst and as Derivatives Advisor from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. She is member of the Economics Analysis Committee and head of the Business Development team at VRS.

Sotiris Kazampakas is the Co-Founder of StockWatch, a trading tool generating and providing Trading Signals for the global financial markets based on algorithmic mechanical systems. In 2009 he assumed the position of General Manager in e-FSW Holding. Since 1987 he has an active trading experience in world futures & options (Index, Commodities and Forex) as well as in world equities.

Manos is a Certified Financial Analyst & Asset Manager from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. For the past many years he has worked as Investors Relations Manager for ATHEX listed companies, as Portfolio Manager for major Greek investment banking institutions and as equity research analyst for the Greek brokerage industry.

Evripidis joined VRS as a Research Economist in 2020. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the ICMA Centre, University of Reading, where his research interests primarily lie in the field of economic forecasting and macroeconomics. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from University of Macedonia, and an M.Sc. in Finance with distinction from Loughborough University. Evripidis also teaches various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Reading, United Kingdom.

Carlos joined VRS as an equity researcher in 2023. With over ten years inside international financial markets, he brings work experience in buy-side advising (convertible securities, company valuation, M&A and IPOs). Carlos holds a Grande Ecole Master’s degree from the HEC Paris School of Management and has also studied economics and finance at Ecole Polytechnique (France). He was also a top engineering student at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain.

Matteo joined VRS in 2022 as an Equity Research Analyst. He holds an MSc in Finance from the ICMA Centre, University of Reading and a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He worked for Bloomberg as a Data Analyst in the Global Data Team and as M&A Analyst at Ionian Capital. His primary interests are Equity Research, M&A, Multi-Asset Portfolio Management, Fixed-Income Securities, and Real Investments. He holds a Fixed Income Certificate from ICMA, and he is currently a CFA Level 2 candidate and a CISI Capital Market Programme candidate.

Christos joined VRS in 2018. His research interests are mostly found in the areas of corporate finance such as securities & company valuation and credit rating methodologies as well as in exchange rates and commodities.
